Calming and Mitigation, City of Coral Gables, FL

Project Summary
Marlin Engineering was retained by the City of Coral Gables to develop a Citywide Traffic Calming Plan. Among the tasks that were performed were public traffic concern reviews, studies of existing traffic conditions within the city, traffic calming analysis, development of methodology and selection criteria for implementation and evaluation of traffic calming devices, coordination with Miami-Dade County Public Works Department, introduction of demonstration projects, before-and-after analysis, and development of traffic calming design criteria.
