September 2006 - Ramon Soria, P.E. is given the 2006 Engineer of the Year Award by the ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineers).

October 2006 - Marlin Engineering receives the 2005 Outstanding Achievement in Public Works award for Traffic Calming Projects in the City of Coral Gables and other locations throughout Miami-Dade County. This was awarded by the APWA ( American Public Works Assoc. of South Florida).

Marlin Engineering, Inc. continues to support our local community in many ways. This past Saturday October 28, 2006, some of our employees and families joined the USA Weekend Magazine, Team Metro Kendall on “Make a Difference Day”, the national day to help others.

N.W. 25th Street Phase 1- a $115 million urban reconstruction project, PD&E Study, and Final Design is successfully let to construction by the FDOT District 6. Marlin Engineering was responsible for the successful Corridor Study.

Marlin Engineering is awarded the Strategic Intermodal System (SIS) Districtwide Contract by the FDOT District 4.  Marlin Engineering will be supporting the Department’s efforts in the planning design, operation and management of the FDOT District 4 SIS.
